What is Mental Health?
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
Here at Kates Hill Primary, we are committed to supporting children in their emotional & mental wellbeing. We know that wellbeing, physical & mental health, are all vital in order for children to succeed in their learning. Our aim is to provide help, tips & resources to support children & families as we recognise the importance of parents & carers feeling supported & well in themselves.
As children return to school, we are increasingly aware that there may be some feelings of anxiety, worry and concern amongst many of our children and parents. If you are concerned about your child’s emotional wellbeing and would like some support or advice, please contact Mrs Subhan via email on email@example.com or arrange a phone appointment by calling the school office.
